He is Worthy of Praise

     The song says, "Come let us seek the courts of the Lord; Oh, what delight His temple affords! Come, let is feast our souls in His Word; Enter His gates and worship the Lord."

Psalms 95:6-7 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand.

     Do we realize the power of our God and how much praise He is truly worthy of? Do we revere Him and tremble in His presence with the knowledge of His omnipotence. Why do we go to church? Do we go to see our friends and to visit after the service? Do we go to get what inspiration we haven't gotten during the week? Yes, the Lord speaks to us thru the preaching of the Word, but shouldn't we also go to worship Him? Ok so we go to  church to worship, but am I truly worshipping in spirit and in truth? Do we sing our songs in praise to Him...to Him our Creator...to Him our Savior...to Him our Guide and Provider...to Him our place of rest and security..? Are we, within our spirit, honestly aware that God is all of that to us? Then, are we so overwhelmed with thankfulness, that worshipping is our soul desire? Can we be so overwhelmed and overflowing with God's love that we just can't praise Him enough?
