Giving In

Giving in is different then giving up. I have many situations I encounter throughout my day that give me the choice to either give in or not to give in! Giving up is just what it sounds like. We don't get our way or something didn't turn out the way we imagined it would, and we give up. We most likely throw our hands up in despair and walk away from the whole "mess." I have the choice to give in or give up. I want to be a winner. I want to be the best I can be. For my friends, parents, and most importantly, God. By giving up I'm letting the issue become bigger then me. I'm dooming myself as a chicken. Id rather give in and let life happen. I want to be a conqueror and live above. By letting myself get too involved and wanting things my own way I find I am bringing myself down to a possition where I can't deal with it at all. I'm looking up to a problem I've created by not giving in to it. Life happens, people contradict, things don't go like we plan them to go. I want to roll with the punches and take life in stride, and I pray I can let God be my guide.
