In need of a Savior

I am helpless. I am hopeless. I am defenseless. I am blind. I cannot fight. I cannot protect myself.....As I look up, I find my hope, I find my refuge, I find my strength. This is the feeling I have as I recognize my need of the Savior....He is the only one that can protect us from the evil around us. He is the only one that can give us courage and hope; the only one that can provide us strength.

John 16 :19-21 Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?
Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.

"But your sorrow shall be turned into joy"

....I have been thinking of sorrow. The definition is - 1 a : deep distress, sadness, or regret especially for the loss of someone or something loved b : resultant unhappy or unpleasant state 2 : a cause of grief or sadness 3 : a display of grief or sadness

Sorrow is real. Seems to me such a terrible feeling. I am wondering if we sometimes don't want to find healing for it. Do I wallow around in it seeking and finding self pity? (I have many thoughts that are trying to find a way out and may not succeed in revealing themselves in an understandable way.) I want to take my mind on a tour. A tour through God's promises...His righteousness...His laws and ways of truth...His design in Faith...I want to learn of His rest ...experience His Joy and peace by obeying and following Him.

Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
