Musings From My Windowsill
A quietness has settled on the earth.
Everything has found it's place.
Ones that wander have found their temporary home.
I don't think they know what they're looking for, but I sigh a prayer...
that they can find their place someday.
Soft glowing lights shine from distant homes.
A calmness and peace seems to fly from creature to creature,
silencing their chatter to a quiet slumbering.
Like an intangible stealthy being, darkness has crept upon the world.
God is here.
His whispers of mercy and grace speak comfort to me.
He is everywhere else too, watching over His children,
caring for, leading, and protecting them.
It's a big thought that He can be everywhere at once,
and it's amazing that we can serve such an omnipotent God.
Knowing His sovereignty over creation, ensures my trust in His ways.
Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
