Friendship

      Maybe we learn to love, maybe we learn to care, maybe we learn to trust, maybe we even learn to hope. Or do we choose to love? Is it a choice we make? Do we choose to care or even trust? Do we choose to learn?...What puts the desire in us to make that choice?...Is it a selfish motive to see if we can get something from somebody by showing them love?...Or do we just love and care for certain people without any reason. They are just a likable person.

 

I have been wondering about all this and came up with a little idea of how this all works.

      Don't we start loving, caring, and trusting someone when we learn to know them? When we have heard them speak their heart, when we have listened to their opinions, dreams, jokes, and even their life situations and problems, isn't that when we start to love and trust someone? When we open up to each other and share like that, I think it creates a bond that is not easily broken. Its so easy for me to look across a room full of people and maybe spot a few of my friends and think "cool, there are my friends!"but all the rest are just that...people! Ive been thinking that I could probably learn to love more people if i would just take the time to get to know them. Maybe I have been selfish by not caring enough. There are people out there that if we would care enough to jus say "hi", could start to love and form friendships with that could last forever.
