Thoughts on Selfishness

I wonder what a completely unselfish human would be like...Jesus was. Are we striving to be Christ-like? Why do people struggle with fitting in and feeling excepted? I think it is selfishness. They are thinking of only themselves and are concerned for their own well-being. We are Christians and we should be striving to be Christ-like. We were born with a selfish nature so Satan can use this part of us to his advantage but, Jesus came and died so we could have eternal life. He also showd us by his example how to live. We should except others and be concerned for those around us. If we love our neighbor as our self, and if we look for ways to perform random acts of senseless kindness, we wont have time to think of ourselves. We won’t want to think about ourselves because that brings depressing thoughts and we’ll find that it’s much better to be a friend then to pout and feel friendless because its much more rewarding. Except yourself and realize that God didn’t make a mistake. Except others and you will be excepted.
